How we find the best.

Looking for the very best photographers in Denver is no easy task. A simple google search for "Denver Photographers" yields almost 1.5 million results. How are you going to sift through all the studios in the area to find that one perfect photographer for you? It's tough.

Sure, there are a few sites out there that claim to list good photographers in the area. But a lot of these so-called "Resource" sites are no more than bulk advertising. Why would you want to go search through a hundred ad listings? That's just going to make you confused. That's why we created myDenverPhotographers.com - to collect only the very best studios in the Metro Area.

Our photographers are listed here by invitation only, so you know you're looking at the very best. We select each studio by hand, with great care. All our photographers must meet, at the bare minimum, the following criteria:

Technical Skill

• Use of traditional AND modern techniques
• Mastery of off-camera lighting
• Mastery of Photojournalism (candid, unposed shots)



Consistency

• Photographer has a blog and updates it frequently
• Blog posts show work of consistent quality - as good as their website
• Photographer continues to improve work through seminars, continuing education, etc.



Product Quality

• Digital files provided with all wedding packages
• Flush-mount albums available
• All album design done in-house (not outsourced)



Reputation

• Minimum of five public reviews (Google, Yahoo, etc)
• Business age of at least 5 years
• References from within the Denver photographic community.

And because myDenverPhotographers.com was founded by photographers, we're very picky. We never list a studio here that we wouldn't trust to shoot our own special events.
